Outreach Ministries

The Epworth Center is home to a variety of outreach ministries. Click on a link below or to the left to read more about a particular ministry or event. Our Ministries

Hunger

The Epworth Center hosts family-style community luncheons at Easter and Thanksgiving. Food boxes are also handed out at Christmas and Easter, and as needed. The Epworth Center is in the process of partnering with another local food ministry - stay tuned!

Prison

The Epworth Center has a good working relationship with a local correctional institution. Throughout the year, inmates come to work on the grounds, lodge, and cabins. At Easter and Christmas, the Epworth Center hosts luncheons for the inmates and staff.

Group Home

The Epworth Center works with a local girl's group home to provide a safe place for community service. The girls come to serve at our Thanksgiving and Easter luncheons, pack food boxes, and more. We also have parties for them at Easter and Christmas, including Mary Kay makeovers, Revolve Bible magazines, gifts, and lots more!

Medical

The Epworth Center hosts a yearly health fair and Footprints in the Park walk in July. CPR training and other medical training events are available throughout the year.

Prayer

Recently unveiled - our new prayer room! We also encourage you to consider making prayer cloths, blankets and/or shawls. You can read more about them (and how our ministry with them began) by visiting our prayer page.
